Ali Fatimah Hospital (AFH) is a Madinah Foundation welfare project that began in 2017 with
the goal of providing low-cost health care to the people of Lahore and the surrounding
areas. The Hospital is a Non-Profit Organization, as defined by Section 2(36) of the Income
Tax Ordinance of 2001. Pakistan Medical Commission has recognized Ali Fatimah Hospital as a
teaching hospital attached with Abu Umara Medical and Dental College. AFH is registered with
Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) and ISO 9001:2015 certified. Ali Fatima hospital (AFH) is
a 600 bedded tertiary care hospital located at Raiwind Road, Lahore to address the need of
the community as well as to provide training facilities for medical and paramedical
personnel. The target population, in general, belongs to a low socio-economic group in and
around Lahore with a population of about 30 million.
AFH is fully equipped with the latest diagnostic facilities including Medical Laboratory and
radiology (Ultrasound, Doppler, CT Scan, Mammography, MRI, and Angio-suit). A highly
qualified team of doctors and Nursing / Paramedical is working 24/7 to deliver efficient and
effective healthcare facilities.
Aside from nearly full occupancy of beds indoors, more than 1100 patients benefit from the
outdoors on a daily basis. The OPD is housed in a fully constructed, air-conditioned
structure. Outdoor services are provided by both on-call consultants and visiting
consultants. Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Gynecology and obstetrics, Eye, ENT,
Nephrology, Urology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery, Physiotherapy,
and Nutrition are among the fields that offer outpatient treatments. In the OPD, there is
also the option of collecting lab samples on the spot. Outpatient services are provided to
patients at no cost. Free medicines are given to the poor and needy patients.
