The Curriculum of Abu Umara Medical and Dental College is a traditional Student centered curriculum with certain integrated components. We have ensured that our curriculum focuses on the current problems pertinent to our own region as well as incorporates an international flavor. We have Integrated Surgery, Medicine and Patient Safety throughout the 5 years , as well as progressively increasing time for Self-Directed Learning for students progressively as they advance in their Medical College experience. An introductory module focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship, professionalism and study skills (LEAPS) is also integrated in first year.
