Infrastructure:

The campus is situated on 70 kanals of land with a covered area of more than 150,000 sq ft., in the heart of the educational hub of Lahore with very easy access on the main Raiwind road Lahore, having state of the art infrastructure, which include academic blocks, sports grounds, library, cafeteria, girls’ hostel, mosque, labs, and Ali Fatima Teaching Hospital.

Auditorium:

The campus has a fully furnished, centrally airconditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 500 people for conducting various events like seminars, conferences, and lectures, etc. The auditorium is well equipped with the latest Audio/Visual system.

Library:

Libraries serve the community with up-to-date information through different sources. The campus has a digital library, online research journals, periodicals. All users from faculty, staff, or students are encouraged to make full use of available resources. It contains around 1700 books on medical and allied health sciences subjects.
Internet facilities in the library connect users & provide access to books, journals, theses, newspapers, and other resources in a hybrid environment (i.e., a combination of print and online resources). AUMDC library has access to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Digital Library that provides thousands of virtual reference sources, online books, electronic journals, digital theses, and other multimedia resources on various subjects. The library is equipped with the latest technology like KOHA Library Management System and is providing users the facility of borrowing and returning library material. The bibliographic information about available collections is available through KOHA software.
Comfortable interior and innovative furniture in the libraries make them stunning and provide a refreshing environment that attracts users and compels them to spend time and study in a relaxed and conducive environment. Study carrels and study lounge for faculty and students provide an excellent atmosphere.

IT Facilities:

The information & Communication Technology (ICT) department is responsible for ensuring the adequacy of academic and administrative computing facilities at AUMDC. The department implements efficient technology infrastructure, supports an effective campus management system, and delivers responsive IT support services. Wi-Fi cloud computing facility is also available throughout the campus. The network on the campus is based on a fiber-optic backbone and supplemented by high-speed internet access. The campus has two computer labs with more than 200 latest computers.

Lecture Theatres:

The campus has 6 fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art lecture theatres, equipped with inbuilt Audio/ Visual systems for the effective teaching and learning of the students.

Conference rooms:

AUMDC has three well-furnished conference rooms with a seating capacity of 20-40 people each. These rooms are fully equipped with the inbuilt Audio/ Visual system for Board/ faculty meetings and for organizing seminars and workshops.

Laboratories

AUMDC is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories with a conducive environment for learning. The students have access to the latest equipment for hands-on training and are being taught by using modern audio/ visual aids. Emphasis is given to safe practices during laboratory work.

Hostel:

AUMDC has an on-campus hostel facility for girls. The students are given the facility of accommodation, mess, and internet facility.

Cafeteria:

The medical college has its own cafeteria where students are served snacks and continental cuisines throughout the day at very economical prices.

Transport:

The college has outsourced transport to facilitate students in their daily commute to the University.

Bank:

There is an on- campus bank facility for the students as well as employees. ATMs are also installed in the vicinity for convenience.

Security of the Campus:

CCTV cameras with night vision features have been installed on the campus to ensure full security from all entry points to various sections of the university including teaching and administrative departments. The height of the surrounding wall has been increased. Walk-through gates, metal detectors, turn style, and reflection mirrors have also been installed to have foolproof security arrangements.

Common Room:

To facilitate our students, AUMDC has established spacious, comfortable, and separate common rooms for boys and girls. Students can relax, study and have informal discussions in available free time. Daily newspapers, magazines, journals, and periodicals are placed there for leisure reading.
