National green day is celebrated annually to raise the environmental awareness and it provides a chance to learn about the importance of protecting our planet by many ways like planting trees, cleaning up litter etc. Department of Pharmacy and Environmental Society, The Green International University In collaboration with Punjab Forestry Department Lahore organized “Green Day” celebration to raise the awareness about importance of plantation.
Guest of honors: Prof Meritorious Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Rector of The Green International University.
Chief Guest: Prof. Dr. Tariq Bhatti, Principal Abu Umara Medical and Dental College, Dr. Mohsin Ali Cheema Vice Principal Abu Umara Medical and Dental College along with other faculty members graced the event by planting different plants.
