The students of Anesthesia Technology at Abu Umara Medical & Dental College / The Green International University organised a seminar for the “World Anesthesia Day”, celebrated every year on October 16 to highlight the advancements in the field of Anesthesia and to further spread information amongst the general public about safe Anesthetic practices.

Guest of Honour: Prof. Dr. Tariq Bhatti, Principal Abu Umara Medical and Dental College
Guest Speakers: Prof. Dr. Mohsin Ali Cheema, Vice Principal Abu Umara medical and Dental College Dr. Adnan Latif, Assistant Professor Anesthesia at Ali Fatima Hospital
Presentations were given by the guest speakers about the history and development of anesthesia technology and the role of Anesthesia Technologists in Hospital settings with an emphasis on this year’s World Anesthesia Day theme being: “Medication Safety”.The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour addressed the students to impress upon the need of vigilance and compassion in their respective fields.
